What a convenience! A sturdy table that you can stash until you need it once more.

This illustrates the advantage of custom made furniture: A customer needed a collapsible 12" x 12" table that was 24" high, saying that he was unable to find what he needed on the market. Most of all, he added, he wanted it to be stable.

After a few questions about its function and appearance, a table was born!

Not a Push-Over

Maple is a heavy, dense hardwood - a perfect choice if you are looking for a sturdy, stable and durable folding table.

Seen here is the solid maple table. The legs are 2" wide and 3/4" thick.

This particular design could be adapted to varying dimensions, including the classic "TV table" size of roughly 24" x 18" x 28" high.

Use your imagination

You could also customize the table further by adding a stripe of another species of wood to the top, similar to Gerrybuilt cutting boards, or by having the top and legs of two different species.

No matter the overall dimensions, the table can fold down to a 3 inch thickness, allowing you to store it easily in a closet, under a bed, or behind a couch.
